ClearWater Systems' stocks and services a broad range of Pura UV series treatment equipment, from the UVB1 to the UV20-3. Which system is right for you is determined by the volume of treated water required and by the type of treatment required. The UVB1 and UVB2 (this page) are designed for Point of Use treatment.
The difference between the UVB2 and the UVB1 is that the UVB2 has a sediment filter in addition to the UVB1's UV disinfection and Carbon Filtration.

The patented UVB Series is designed to provide microbiologically safe water at a flow rate of 2 gallons per minute. In addition to disinfection, water is filtered through an Extended Pass Carbon Block (EPCB) filter, which also removes Cryptosporidium and Giardia Lamblia Cysts (see glossary for more information on these terms). The compact UVB1 system can be used anywhere that clean, clear, good tasting, always on, disinfected water is needed, and is ideal for home and office locations like:

- coffee, tea & other beverages
- cooking

- sports bottles
